Mary + Kevin // 100 Acre Wood

To begin with, this place is what wedding dreams are made of. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Prince Edward County, lives 100 acre wood.

Mary and Kevin have poured their heart and souls into this land, creating not only a venue but an oasis for people to come together and celebrate. From the moment I stepped out of my car and breathed in the fresh county air, I knew this would become one of my most beloved wedding locations.

Obviously, the landscape is to die for. But even more importantly, it feels like home there. The place has soul.

Witnessing the owners themselves get married on their own land was a unique and intimate experience. It truly felt like a village came together in support of this love and this place. From the handmade dress by Comrags and the artfully designed floral ring by Minim Designs, to the open fire cooking by the team at Woodlot and perfectly curated selection of local wines, every detail was a thoughtful representation of friendship and dedication.

With the smell of the open fire and endless amounts of delicious food and wine,  the outside world seemed to stopped moving while the day unfolded.

How incredible is it when two people can come together and not only share in their dreams, but make them a living reality?

I mean, isn't that the whole point of love anyways? To become your dreams?

I hope you enjoy this glimpse of Mary and Kevin's day, and really hope you have a chance to visit one day.
