Mother. Artist. Friend.
There's certainly beauty in slowness. In simple interaction and normal everyday happenings.
Take a breath, take a break and let me help capture some of the good stuff.
I create soulful portraiture and natural wedding photography for genuine people and modern lovers.
After becoming a mother, I recognized whole heartedly the beauty in impermanence and the perfection in imperfection.
Motherhood imagery has since become my passion. Capturing this time in women's lives is where I feel most of service in this art. Where I feel I can contribute to your lives in some small way.
I gravitate to people with old souls and places with history. The smell of the earth keeps me grounded and the risk of the unknown both terrifies and empowers me in equal measure. I think it’s that constant ebb and flow that keeps me moving, searching, creating.
I live in an old house in the city, and dream of living in an old house in the country. Winding roads, morning fog, a garden to read in and cook from.
My approach to photography is natural, pure and honest.
I try my best to tell it like it is, to fill my images with soul, and to capture what’s real.
My aesthetic is influenced by nature, interactions and the rawness of emotion - I find a sort of poetry in it all. My images will reflect the realness of our time together and my only hope, is that they remind you of how you felt and who you were when they were captured.
If given the opportunity to have a glimpse into your life, I will work to uncover who you truly are, how you feel and how you love.
Then I will do my best to tell your story.
When it comes to weddings, I like to work with the truth.
With a documentary approach, I’m always quietly anticipating your next move. In order to do that, I need to understand your connection. We’ll take our time, get to know each other and create unique and timeless imagery that reflects your soul, your story and your life.
I approach the day artistically and intentionally. I don’t work from a shot list, but instead let the story unfold, while chasing light and guiding you to creating artistic imagery.
I book a limited amount of weddings each year in an effort to provide my couples with everything I have to offer as an artist. From our initial meeting right through to your last dance, I’ll be here to help guide you, laugh with you and adventure with you.
If my style and work resonate with you, I’d love to connect further. Feel free to contact me so we can get this party started!
